I have a friend who’s quite new in town.
I really never spoke to her but would always see her around.
She showed me a new world one that I could not see.
showed me the meaning of laughter, and how to be plain old me.
A lady who comforts me comforts me from harm.
My lady friend has a special name.
I call this lady mom.
